What he did was utter foolishness. Maybe it would have worked in this day and age (social media "might" have backed him up), but back then, no way! Back then 'what happens in Bollywood, stays in Bollywood', was a sacred rule.

He should've thought it through or spoken to someone before pulling this shizz. He can't have not realised the impact it will have on his career if things went South.

Salman made Aishwarya's career. What career did Aishwarya have before she dated Salman....she had 3 flops in South and 3 flops in Bollywood and 3 shelved movies. Aishwarya dated Salman for her career. Salman gave her HDDCS which was her first commercial hit. Salman gave her movies which fill her filmography from 1999-2002. And she thanked him by saying Salman ruined her career lol... ex-Miss World is so treacherous and toxic!

The only project Aishwarya lost out after her break-up with Salman was Chalte Chalte and that was because of her own unprofessional behavior and also her karma for destroying Mahima Chaudhry's career.

Aishwarya destroyed Vivek's life and career by making him look like a joker when she told him to do that press conference. Then she put the blame on him, trapped Abhishek, dropped Vivek, and happily became Bachchan Bahu while Vivek became the laughing stock.

Vivek is the son of Suresh Oberoi. He came from a reputed film family. He had a hit debut and was considered the next superstar.

Aishwarya dated Vivek because she had nothing going on for her at that time. That was before she hired an American PR firm who made her a 'global icon', made her famous by using 'the most beautiful woman in the world' tag, and gave her discounted British movies which she bragged were Hollywood movies. She didn't have L'Oreal brand endorsement and her Miss World image was old because India had Priyanka Chopra, Lara Dutta, and Dia Mirza as new beauty queens.

Ash dated Vivek from 2003-2005. No one forced her to date Vivek. Just like no one forced her to marry Abhishek.
